Social media marketing can be beneficial for a business because if it’s done correctly it can increase brand awareness by increasing the visibility of the brand, allow more inbound traffic, provide better customer satisfaction and improve brand loyalty by developing lasting relationships with the audience. Insights can support a business marketing campaign by helping it evolve. Marketing insights are how the human mind see your product. Marketing insights allow a company to see why their target audience thinks about their product in the way they do, behave as they behave and feel what they feel. Understanding marketing insights allows a company to know the real needs of their clients and their desired approach.

Pinterest is social site that is used for promotional purposes. People are able to pin things they like to a virtual board to create an idea. The pins people apply to their virtual boards link to websites which is great for driving traffic and sales. Ways to use Pinterest for marketing is to create boards with keywords in the title, use the description to spread ideas, be creative with pins, and build collaborative boards. Pinterest allows a company to show its brands personality by creating pins with company culture. The company culture could be the employee of the month or show tips on how the company celebrates diversity. The social site also allows companies to show market their upcoming events and interact with its users.

Pinterest insights allow a company to to see what their potential and existing customers are interested in. The audience selection insight allows the business to see how many people have viewed and engaged with the pins on the social site. Piniterest also allows you to break down your demographic audience. The social site allows you to see the age, gender, location, and device of the users that come view your page. These tools are useful to users to because they will convert more browsers into buyers.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
